Former NBC announcer Bill Andrews drew this floor plan from memory. It shows the studio
and transmitter of KLX in the Tribune Tower Building, as it was when Andrews worked there in the
mid 1920's.
The view of the Oakland Tribune Tower Building at right is from a contemporary postcard. The station was located on the top floor of the tower, behind the clock panel.
