KLIV 1590 Music LivRary
March 15, 1972
The mellow Seventies are in full effect — witness
America, Paul Simon, B.J. Thomas, Cher and Bread — on KLIV/1590's
survey of the Southbay's top twenty hits in the middle of March 1972,
under the guidance of music director Dave Sholin. John McLeod,
still heard on the station thirty years after this survey was published,
poses with Miss Herfy, who is "generally preparing him" for a
live appearance at the hamburger restaurant chain that is attempting to
make inroads into the Bay Area. (Herfy's continues to operate shops in
the Pacific Northwest.)
