Radio Day By
The Bay is the California Historical Radio Society's big annual open
house and fundraiser, featuring entertainment, food, an auction of rare,
classic radios and tours of the museum, as well as the live announcement
of the latest members of the Bay Area Radio Hall of Fame.
The event is
held at the CHRS Bay Area Radio Museum, located in the old KRE Radio
Station on Shellmound Street (near Ashby Avenue off I-80) in Berkeley,
under the giant radio tower south of Aquatic Park.

Carter B. Smith Tribute: We’ll
revisit CB's career, screen his last interview and hear Carter stories
from friends, colleagues and family. Hosted by Ben Fong-Torres and
featuring guest speakers Frank Dill, Mike Cleary, Greg Sherwood, Clark
Reid, Kim Wonderley, Celeste Perry, Stan Bunger, and Carter's sons,
Clayton and Blake Smith.
